Food Safety

Our most popular course is the one that should be held by all food handlers and renewed at least every 3 years. This 1-day class includes specific legal requirements for food, drink and illness notification, as well as guidance on food preparation, storage, handling and serving.  Our Food Safety training covers all of these requirements as well as highlighting good personal practices and the importance of effective training and supervision. Using our own ‘Germcam’ to highlight the importance of good hand hygiene, candidates leave this class with a real ‘buzz’!

Healthy Eating

Increasingly relevant and popular, this 1-day class explores the balance of good health, the links between diet and health, nutritional requirements of different groups, as well as food processing and labelling. Especially relevant for those selecting menus in nurseries, schools, colleges and care homes.

Health & Safety

Employing active and participative methods to show that Health and Safety is essentially a practical, pragmatic discipline, this class will both inform and aid maintenance of due diligence. Our most popular course is the 1-day class covering accidents, ill health, duty of care, hazards, risks and controls. We examine many common situations to show how sensible precautions can prevent accident and ill health.

Conflict Resolution

Staff that work in public-facing environments often face risks of confrontation that can escalate to violence. Ensuring staff are equipped to defuse and de-escalate a situation can assist in providing a safe and confident working environment and can help the employer maintain due diligence in respect of staff safety.
This 1-day highly interactive class is packed full of meaningful strategies for understanding and dealing with conflict. 

First Aid

Our most popular class is the 1-day Emergency First Aid class (replacing the Appointed Person First Aid course.)
This course meets the requirement for a suitably trained person to be able to take action in an emergency situation.

Our First Aid courses also include essential training on life support.

Personal Licence

Anyone who wishes to hold a licence to sell or serve alcohol must gain a Personal Licence Holder qualification. Our National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders course has launched hundreds of people into successful careers in alcohol retail.
